How does email login work and how can I activate it?

  • You can use email login to log in to the My Vodafone Self Care on the web and to the My Vodafone app. You will use your email and your own alphanumeric password to log in.
  • With this login method, you can conveniently manage all services and accounts under one roof, not only yours, but also those of your loved ones (if you get access from them).
  • Similarly, you can grant access to log in to a service or customer account to someone in your family or company. Everyone logs in with their own email.
  • If you forget your password, simply reset it.
  • After activating email login, you can no longer log in to the web Self Care and My Vodafone app with a numeric password. However, you can still use the numeric password for voice and SMS Self Care and for contacting Vodafone in store or on the Customer Care Line. You can find the numeric password in My Vodafone Self Care and can, of course, change it at any time.

How do I activate my email login?

Log in to My Vodafone Self Care in the normal way.

Use your service number or payer number and your numeric admin password to log in.

Click on the Account menu (the red button with the silhouette of the character and your name) and select Activate Email Login.

If you don't see the menu here, make sure you have logged in with your admin password and that you don't have an email login yet.

The next screen will ask you for your current phone contact. If the number is correct you can continue, otherwise you can edit it here.

You must confirm the change of your contact number with a code, which we will send you by SMS to your current contact telephone number for security reasons. If you no longer have this number, please contact us.

We will send you a verification code via SMS, which you will fill in on the next page, where you will also set your email and password.

Copy the code from the SMS carefully. Also pay attention to the conditions that your password must meet to be secure enough.

Move to your email inbox where we will send you an activation link - it is valid for 24 hours.

You will receive an email from prihlaseniemailem@vodafone.com and the link in the email must be opened within 24 hours.

After opening the link from the email, be sure to log in with your new details as instructed.

If you have more than one active service with us, you will select the default service you see first when you first log in.

Want to change the email you use to log in?

Use your email and password to log in.

Click the Account menu (the red button with the silhouette of a character and your name) and select Login via email Settings.

In this section you will find all the details and options that apply to logging in via email.

Select Change Email.

On the next page, enter your new email and follow the instructions we send you in the email.

Would you like to cancel your email login?

If for some reason you want to revert to logging in with a service number and numeric password, you can cancel the email login as follows. Before cancelling your email login, make sure you know or view your numeric password.

Use your email and password to log in.

Click the Account menu (the red button with the silhouette of a character and your name) and select Login via email Settings.

In this section you will find all the details and options that apply to logging in via email.

Select Delete login via email.

After cancelling the email login, you will log back into the self-service with your service number (or payer number) and your numeric password. You can reactivate your email login at any time by following the procedure above.
