We won't pack your suitcase for you, but we'll give you advice on how to set up your phone before you travel and what roaming arrangements you should make at home so you can enjoy yourself and relax while you're on the road. Setting up roaming really is easier than choosing a holiday.
Each tariff has a set amount of data that you can use in Zone 1 (in the EU and Norway, Liechtenstein, the UK and Iceland) with no extra charge. You'll find the Zone 1 data volume for your tariff in the Pricelist and can also see it in the My Vodafone Self Care in the Usage section.
We'll notify you if you've run out by text message, and you'll pay for additional data according to the amount actually used by kilobytes (1 GB costs about CZK 41.36). Please note that Switzerland, for example, is not in the EU and belongs to roaming zone 2.
If you're on islands or near the border of another country, your phone may be tuned into another operator's network that's outside Roaming Zone 1. A special note on Cyprus, in the northern part of the island you will have a signal from Turkish networks. On board ships and planes, you may have coverage from operators that specialise in this type of coverage. In this case, it is always a 3rd roaming zone, no matter which countries you travel between by boat or plane.
In most countries we have multiple partner networks. Your service will usually work best on the network that your phone connects to automatically. However, if you need to change networks, enter the country you are visiting on this page (Kam cestujete?), check the available networks and select the network manually from the phone menu. You may need to repeat the network selection several times in succession to switch to a different network.
