How do I get a new SIM Card after I lose my phone?

We will give you a new SIM Card for free whether you have lost it or your SIM card has been stolen. There are more ways how to get it:

Log in to the My Vodafone selfcare and go to the  Services - SIM card and mobile phone.

Use the administrator password to log in.

Order the SIM Card in the "New SIM card" section.

You will receive a SIM card from us by post, usually arriving within 2 to 3 working days.

Other ways to get a new SIM Card:

  1. In My Vodafone application – on the main page in section: Other functions. You will find the SIM Order.
  2. Visit one of our stores, where you will receive a SIM card right away - all you need to know is the administrator password and also have an identity card with you.
  3. Call the Customer Line *77 or 800 77 00 77 and we will send you a SIM card by post.

Good to know:

  • Please, pick up your new SIM Card as soon as possible. Even if your SIM is blocked, we still charge you for your services.
  • If you use prepaid card, you can also order a new SIM by phone or pick it up in person at the store.

How do I activate a new SIM card?

Whatever method you choose, we will usually activate your new SIM card within 1 hour.

  1. In My Vodafone Selfcare - in the Service section - SIM card and mobile phone section - Activation of a new SIM section, fill in the 19-digit serial number of the new SIM and click on save.
  2. In My Vodafone application - on the main page in section Other functions - Show more, select SIM Activation and scan the 19-digit serial number of the new SIM.
  3. Via the Customer Care Line - call us from any phone number at 800 77 00 77.
  4. Personally, in our store.

Contacts saved on your old SIM card will not be on the new SIM and unfortunately cannot be traced. Therefore, we recommend that you back up your contacts regularly (for example, through a Google Account or iCloud).
