How does the Kids Tariff work and who can get it?
- The Kids Tariff is available to new and existing Vodafone customers aged 6 to 15 years inclusive. Kids Tariff is always registered to the legal representative due to the child’s age.

What does the Kids Tariff include?
You can choose from 2 variants:
- Kids Tariff sLimitem S - Unlimited calls within the Czech Republic to all mobile and landline networks, unlimited SMS within the Czech Republic to all mobile networks and 5 GB of data (once exhausted, a fee of 99 CZK is charged for each additional 1 GB started; you can manage the number of data top-ups via DataLimit). 5x per month, you can activate unlimited data for 24 hours. Includes a license for CyberWall mobile security. Discounted monthly price of 344.31 CZK.
- Kids Tariff sLimitem S Extra - Unlimited calls within the Czech Republic to all mobile and landline networks, unlimited SMS within the Czech Republic to all mobile networks and 7 GB of data (once exhausted, a fee of 99 CZK is charged for each additional 1 GB started; you can manage the number of data top-ups via DataLimit). 5x per month, you can activate unlimited data for 24 hours. Includes a license for CyberWall mobile security and access to additional Extra benefits. Discounted monthly price of 443.26 CZK.
With the sLimitem S Extra plan, you can also get a phone (or other device) at a discounted price. In this case, you enter into a 24-month contract with a Minimum Monthly Spending Limit (MSL) of 349 CZK.
How long does the Kids Tariff last and what should I do when the tariff expires?
The Kids Tariff is intended for all users aged 6 to 15 years inclusive. The plan is always set up by the child’s legal representative. If the user no longer meets the age requirement (has turned 16), they lose the right to the discounted plan. We will inform you of the upcoming end of the discounted offer with several SMS messages during the last month of validity.
If the child turns 16:
- You can keep the current plan, we will charge you the normal price for the tariff after the discount expires according to the price list.
- If this plan does not suit you, you can choose a plan from the discounted offer for young people #jetovtobě or any other plan from our standard offer.
What control tools can I use with the Kids Tariff?
For your peace of mind, we offer several control tools:
- FlexiCeiling - set a maximum monthly spend
- DataLimit - maximum number of data top-ups after the data package is exhausted
- Blocking third-party services (in Czech) - to block m-payments, SMS payments, and more
You can also use tools provided directly by phone manufacturers or operating systems:
- Google Family Link - account for children under 13 with control tools
- Samsung Kids - use with Samsung phones
- iPhone - set up Family Sharing and see other options for optimal settings for children
Can I switch to the Kids Tariff if I have a Vodafone prepaid card?
- You can, but before activating the tariff it is necessary to switch from a prepaid card to a postpaid card.
- It´s possible to do it in every Vodafone store.
What happens if we get a discounted phone and the child turns 16 during the 2-year commitment period?
- On the child’s 16th birthday, we will automatically cancel the discount that allowed the user to use the Kids Tariff. You will then pay the basic price for the current plan.
- By purchasing a discounted phone, you have committed to a minimum monthly spend of 249 CZK. This condition still applies (until the end of the 2-year period) and can be met with another plan; it does not have to be the Kids Tariff.
Information regarding the Kids' Tariff offer provided until February 1, 2026
The Kids Tariff is a Red Basic Lite with a discount for children, which includes:
- Unlimited calls in the Czech Republic to Czech mobile and landline numbers
- Unlimited SMS in the Czech Republic to Czech mobile numbers
- 3 GB of data (after exhausting all the data we charge 49 CZK for every 250 MB started, you can adjust the number of data purchases via DataLimit)
- Discounted price is 323.19 CZK per month
- Free EU roaming
You can also get a phone (or other device) with a discount with the Kids Tariff, in which case you sign a 24-month contract with a commitment to a minimum monthly spend of 249 CZK.
