Comtrend VR3031-EUSB Fixed DSL Internet Modem
To use Fixed Internet via DSL technology, you need a modem that supports VDSL2 technology. We recommend ordering the modem directly from Vodafone, it will be pre-configured and we can provide you with full support when using it. The Comtrend VR-3031EUSB modem supports ADSL and VDSL connections up to 100 Mb/s.
Technical Specifications:
- 4 LAN ports (max. 100 Mb/s) for connecting a computer with a network cable.
- Wireless Wi-Fi connection in 802.11b/g/n versions for 2.4 GHz frequencies with a speed of up to 300 Mbit/s. The modem has 2 external Wi-Fi antennas. The speed of the Internet connection depends on the ordered tariff and local conditions and differs from the maximum speed of the home Wi-Fi network.
- The modem also contains the entire home gateway, including the router and firewall. It is possible to connect a USB drive and use it for file sharing (DLNA), the modem supports a print server.
- The dimensions of the modem are 171 x 120 x 38 mm.

- After logging in for the first time, change your password to your own for your own safety. You make the change in the administration in the Management - Access Control - Passwords menu.

Log in to the modem administration.
Log in to the Wi-Fi network of the modem or connect over a data cable and enter the address https://10.0.0.138 in the browser. You need a username and password to access, the default login is the word "admin" for both username and password.
Go to the Wireless menu.
You must have the Enable Wireless item active, enter the network name in the SSID field in the Basic section. Don't forget to save the change. The password can be set in the section Wireless - Security - WPA/WAPI password, again do not forget to save the change.
