How to connect quickly and easily

Create your own Wi-Fi network quickly and without the aid of a technician. View our video guide so that you know what to do. Don't forget to turn on English subtitles.

Take the internet anywhere

Home, cottage or the office.

All you need to do is plug in the modem and you will instantly create a Wi-Fi network wherever you are. Connect as many as 32 devices to the network, plus an additional device using an Ethernet cable.

In addition, at night time, your internet will run twice as fast if you use Cable Free Connection. In fact, for Cable Free Connection+, we will not restrict the internet speed at all from 0:00 to 6:00 because our network has less traffic at night.

Questions and answers

How do I activate the SIM card?

If you acquired your SIM card in one of our stores, our colleagues have already activated it. If the SIM card was delivered to you via a courier, call *77 and this will activate your card and you can start using it.

What affects the speed of a mobile connection?

Several factors affect the quality of data transfer:

  • available network technology and the strength of the signal,
  • current network traffic,
  • abilities of the device that you are using for the connection,
  • use of data bundle – if the limit is exceeded, speed may be limited.

I have entered my PIN incorrectly three times. How do I unblock my SIM card?

In such a case you will need a PUK code. The PUK code is on the card that you received with your SIM card. Wipe away the grey box where the PUK code is. You can also get the code from My Vodafone. As soon as you enter the PUK code, the SIM card will be unblocked and you will be asked to set a new PIN.

Will all of the services work during a number transfer?

We transfer numbers in a way that limits you a little as possible - during the night between midnight and 6:00 am. The impact on your phone use is therefore minimal.

What do I do if I lose my SIM card?

Block the SIM card as soon as possible in My Vodafone, via the operator at *77, or at one of our stores. Proceed according to this guide. Blocking a card is free.

Obtain your new SIM card online or at one of our stores.

Where can I find how much I have spent and my use of free units?

How are free units transferred?

At the end of each billing period, we will transfer your unused free units from voice, SMS and MMS bundles to the following period. You will first use newly acquired units and then the transferred units. If you once again do not use the transferred units, we will not transfer them again.

How do you charge changes to bundles or a tariff?

For some bundles, when we activate or cancel them, we only bill a proportion of their price. This means that if you activate the bundle halfway through the billing period, we will not deduct the amount for the entire month, but only half of it.

Example:
Your billing period begins on the 20th of every month. On the 12th of the month you order one of our bundles. In order to avoid having to wait 8 days for the beginning of next period, we will activate your selected bundle directly and calculate it so you can use it right away; therefore, you will only pay a proportion of the fee on the price of the bundle for 8 days, and you will receive a certain number of units. You will then have all of the free units from the bundle at full price from the beginning of the next billing period. You will also only pay a proportional part of your original tariff for the period up to the 12th day. We do not transfer unused units.

You can connect as many as 32 devices through Wi-Fi to the modem in various rooms, plus an additional device using an Ethernet cable.

You can easily and comfortably manage the modem via the Huawei HiLink mobile app, which is available for operating systems Android and iOS, and over the web interface.

Technical specifications

Standards Wi-Fi: 802.11 b/g/n
External antenna support

The package includes: modem, Ethernet cable, power adapter, connection manual (you can do it on your own without the aid of a technician).

Is the tariff unlimited, or does it have a data limit?

In most cases, we do not restrict your surfing in any way. Your internet will always run at maximum speed when you are browsing web pages, social networks, sending and receiving e-mails, or when you make an internet call (Skype, Google Hangouts, etc.).

The monthly 30 GB data limit only applies to the following activities. If you exceed the limit we may restrict your download and sending speed to 256 kbit/s:

  • downloading and sending data files (sharing torrents, downloading from services such as Ulož.to, LeteckáPošta, HellSpy, etc.)
  • playing videos (e.g. YouTube), internet TV (e.g. iVysílání (E-broadcast), Stream.cz), online radio.

Your speed does not have to be restricted if the network capacity is sufficient in the given locality. Even in such a case, the 30GB limit will be sufficient for most users who are used to a fixed internet connection.
