Vodafone offers fixed ADSL Internet access also to private customers
Vodafone starts to offer fixed ADSL Internet access also to private customers. As part of the special editions of Tailor Made and Shared tariffs, customers can now combine voice services not only with mobile Internet but also with fixed Internet access at advantageous prices. Unlike other operators, Vodafone will make this offer available also to non-contract customers. “We want to make it possible for our private customers to make full use of the Internet in all its forms, both mobile and fixed, and offer it in attractive combinations with voice services,” says Pavel Kuhn, the Senior Marketing Manager for Private Customers at Vodafone. Vodafone offers fixed Internet access in three speeds, with or without a fixed line – Vodafone Internet ADSL 8 Mbit, ADSL 16 Mbit and VDSL 25 Mbit. All three are available at advantageous prices as part of the special editions of Tailor Made and Shared tariffs, or in a bundle with mobile Internet access.
A modem necessary for fixed Internet access is available for as little as CZK 577 upon signing up for 24-month commitment for the Vodafone Internet ADSL service. Customers who want to use fixed Internet access without signing a contract can get the modem for CZK 1,677. Fixed Internet access is available even to customers who do not have a fixed line at home.

Upon signing up for the special edition of the Shared Tailor Made tariff for CZK 1256, a family of three can share a total of 100 minutes for calls to all networks, call and sms one another without worry and use the Internet in Mobile with 150 MB FUP for each one of them. In addition, they can now use the Vodafone Internet ADSL 8Mbit to get access for their home PC for the special price of CZK 396. That is to say, they will pay a total of CZK 1652 for the whole bundle including voice services, Internet in mobile and Internet at home. Having all telecommunications services listed in a single invoice, they can thus keep a good track of all their expenses.
