Vodafone is decreasing the prices of more than a third the phones in its assortment by up to CZK 1000.

Vodafone’s features for May include the multi-media Samsung X700 and the elegant SonyEricsson J220i handsets. The prices of the luxurious Samsung D800 and Nokia 7360 models have significantly decreased with the purchase of a Vodafone card and the Naplno tariff. Almost a half of the handsets in its portfolio can be bought for only CZK 7 in May.

The multi-media X7000 proves that Samsung not only „knows“ how to make „shamm clamm phones“ but can also compete reasonably with those telephone manufacturers making traditional frames. Samsung X700 is well equipped in terms of multi-media (recording video, MMS, PC synchronization, distant log-on to the email); it can be used to access the Internet by way of the EDGE technology, has an enormous memory providing 30 MB and can connect memory cards. This telephone costs only CZK 7 with the purchase of the Naplno 500 tariff.

SonyEricsson J220i is a simple telephone with a simple design for those clients, who are not interested in anything more than telephoning and sending SMSes. J220i can accommodate these demands thanks to its relatively large memory (500 contacts in its address book and 200 SMSes); the telephone is reasonably priced – it costs only CZK 7 with the purchase of any Naplno tariff. The J200i costs CZK 1 977 with the purchase of a Vodafone card.

The prices of more than a third of Vodafone’s handsets have decreased by up to CZK 1000 in May. The biggest price change is seen with the Samsung D800 – a luxurious model with a mega-pixel camera and a display with QVGA resolution costs CZK 2 577 with the purchase of the Naplno 500 tariff. The Nokia 7360 has also been given a preferential price – with the purchase of a Vodafone card the price of the telephone has decreased from CZK 6 577 to 5 557.
