Vodafone has prepared a series of supporting activities for its customers during the 44th International Karlovy Vary Film Festival. Aside from the usual SMS ticket reservation system, visitors can also ride in carriages or rent bikes for free, for example. Reservation system Vodafone has traditionally offered its festival goers the option to reserve cinema tickets via SMS or directly on the Vodafone live! portal. Last year, more than 30 000 festival-goers used this service. Reservation system

Vodafone has traditionally offered its festival goers the option to reserve cinema tickets via SMS or directly on the Vodafone live! portal. Last year, more than 30 000 festival-goers used this service.

Reservations on the Vodafone live! portal

All Vodafone customers who are holders of the Festival Pass may comfortably reserve tickets on the Vodafone live! portal.

SMS Reservations

Accredited festival guests may reserve tickets for screenings via SMS. 40% of all tickets will be available this way.

  • To reserve a ticket you just need to send an SMS with MFF and the corresponding details to 906 09 05
  • If reservation is successful, the guest will receive a confirmation SMS
  • The reservation system is available to Vodafone, T-Mobile and O2 customers who purchase a Festival Pass
  • You can reserve tickets daily from 7 AM until midnight
  • Tickets are sold and issued for the day’s and the following day’s screenings
  • You can pick up your tickets at any ticket office and Vodafone cash desks
  • The cost per SMS is CZK 5 including 19% VAT

Rides around Vary in a carriage or by bicycle

Vodafone customers will be able to ride around Karlovy Vary in two horse-drawn carriages for free this year. Customers may also rent 10 bikes with clear maps directing them to our shop. The carriage and bike stands are located next to the post office across from the Thermal.

Other Vodafone activities during the festival

  • Customers who activate the Steady Connect tariff during their stay in KV will receive a fleece blanket or a ticket to the Jan Becher museum as a gift.
  • Every day, between noon and 3 PM, there will be a hot dog stand in front of the Vodafone shop. Vodafone customers pay CZK 5 for a hot dog (all others pay CZK 22).
  • Hostesses in Vodafone t-shirts/hoodies will be roaming the streets handing out fliers with the student mobile internet offer for CZK 89 and the Student Extra package, which gives an extra CZK 300 credit for CZK 150.
  • Customers can try out the USB mobile connection on a notebook at the Vodafone shop. There will be a Vodafone employee on hand to present and explain how it works.
  • Vodafone will be on the streets handing out key chains for completing a short survey.
  • As every year, there will be a cash desk for our customers in the Vodafone colors at the Hotel Thermal.
