Vodafone gives customers free public transport tickets and schedules

18. September 2008

During the current Europe-wide Mobility Week from September 16th – 22nd, 2008, every customer will receive a free public transport ticket with each purchase at a Vodafone shop. Tickets are available throughout the country, in every city where tickets are used and Vodafone has a shop. Vodafone is also giving free access to public transport schedules on the Vodafone live! portal in celebration of Mobility Week. “With free public transport tickets and transport schedule access, we want to encourage our customers to use public transport, which has less environmental impact,” says Přemysl Filip, Senior Manager for Corporate responsibility at Vodafone Czech Republic and adds: “This year’s Mobility Week will bring a breath of fresh air. We’re doing our part by lowering emissions.
