Vodafone expands its cooperation with Czech Railways to 900 stations throughout the entire Czech Republic

26. October 2009

Following a successful pilot program, Vodafone has dramatically expanded its exclusive cooperation with Czech Railways many times over, increasing its footprint to almost 900 stations that have partnered with the operator to act as sales points. At the same time, Vodafone has prepared a special tariff and pre-paid package for Czech Railways’ electronic In-karta holders. “The pilot program with Czech Railways brought great results, so we decided to expand the number of sales points,” said Martin Pejša, the director responsible for partner sales at Vodafone, and adds: “The number of partner sales points is continuously increasing. We expect that, in two years time, 40 percent of our customers will purchase our products and services through these channels.” In branded stores, over the phone or from the Vodafone website, Czech Railways In-karta holders can exclusively obtain: the Nokia 6303 or the Samsung Star S5230 with a CZK 500 discount when purchasing in conjunction with any ‘Loaded’ voice tariff.
