"We consider it a great achievement to have gained 169 thousand new customers since the beginning of 2006. However, a saturated mobile market and powerful competition are requiring us to expand further into new areas of the business, and that's why we need to move beyond the borders of the mobile market and address new customer segments," says CEO of Vodafone CZ Grahame Maher. He adds: "It is also important that we keep our existing customers and constantly offer them the same advantages we offer to new customers."
The share of Vodafone tariff customers in comparison with last quarter remains steady at 53% of the entire customer base. Vodafone Czech Republic continues to lead the Czech mobile telecommunications market for the fifteenth consecutive quarter with monthly average revenue per user (ARPU) of CZK 670.
