During the period from October through December 2006 Vodafone Czech Republic netted 102 thousand customers. In the calendar year 2006 Vodafone gained over 271 net additions and at the end of the year provided services to over 2.413 million customers in the Czech Republic.

He adds: "This approach rendered our last Christmas campaign a great success, despite the high mobile penetration on the Czech market. We’ve demonstrated that we are brave enough to do only what’s right for customers, and are poised to continue to redefine the rules of the mobile industry even further.”

The share of Vodafone tariff customers in comparison with last quarter remains steady at 53% of the entire customer base. Vodafone CZ closed the quarter with monthly average revenue per user (ARPU) at approximately CZK 660.
