VODAFONE ANNOUNCES UPCOMING CHANGES TO OSKAR VODAFONE SENIOR EXECUTIVE
Paul Donovan, Regional CEO of Vodafone OVS (Other Vodafone Subsidiaries), today announced two significant executive management changes to take place at Oskar Vodafone over the coming months. He also announced similar changes to take place in Connex, Oskar Vodafone‘s sister business, in Romania. Al Tolstoy Effective October 14th, 2005, after over 5 years‘ service as Chairman and CEO of Oskar (with similar responsibilities with Connex), Al will be stepping down after completing his mandate to transition executive control of both businesses to Vodafone. After 11 years spent on successive international assignments, he plans to return to Canada to spend more leisure and quality time with his family and his hobbies. Karla D.

Karla D. Stephens
Also effective October 14th, Karla is appointed CEO of Oskar Vodafone. She will continue to lead the ongoing operational integration of Oskar’s business with Vodafone’s global operations, through to her planned departure in February 2006.

In the same communication, it was announced that Liliana Solomon has been appointed CEO for Connex and that Ted Lattimore, President & COO of Connex, will be stepping down and returning to Canada as of December, 2005.
