UNIFORM PRICES FOR DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL CALLING WITH VODAFONE PASSPORT

With the new Vodafone Passport service, customers can call home from abroad for the same per-minute rate as they pay when calling other networks in the Czech republic with domestic tariffs plus a connection fee of CZK 29,75 (incl. VAT). Vodafone Passport is accessible in all EU countries, as well as in Croatia, Australia and New Zealand. All Vodafone customers can activate the service for free. “A uniform price for calling home even while abroad corresponds with our strategy to offer a transparent and fair offer that all customers can use,” says Vodafone Czech Republic General Director Grahame Maher, adding, “The global success of Vodafone Passport proves that the best way to reducing roaming prices is through a competitive market environment.

Vodafone Passport enables customers to:

  • call from partner networks abroad for the same per-minute rate as with their own domestic tariffs to other networks in the Czech Republic plus a CZK 29,75 (incl. VAT) connection fee
  • receive calls while abroad for the connection fee of CZK 29,75 (incl. VAT) alone

The connection fee is charged at the beginning of the call and then automatically after 20 minutes. Prices for sending SMS and MMS messages and data while abroad are according to the pricelist for Vodafone World Roaming.

For customers with Vodafone Passport, the rate for a normal call made from abroad is about a third less than it had been:
