Three new Vice Presidents join Oskar’s management team

08. July 2003

Francinne Hansen, Igor Přerovský and Jeff Williams are three new Vice Presidents set to join Oskar’s top management. They aim to replace their predecessors who – having helped to kick-start of the most successful GSM startups in the world – finished their contracts in the Czech Republic. Jeff Williams (37) is one of those much-sought guys whose experience list is so long that it is easier to say what he hasn’t done than what he has. And honestly, even if it weren’t for his vast managerial experience, he might have easily landed the job of Vice President Sales and Customer Care solely because of his Hollywood looks. Rumor has it that the Bruce Willis image sported by Jeff helps a lot when providing top quality customer care, especially to the demanding lady-customer… If you have ever heard the song “We are red, we are white, we are Oskar dynamite,” you have a good image of Igor Přerovský.

Jeff Williams (37) is one of those much-sought guys whose experience list is so long that it is easier to say what he hasn’t done than what he has. If you have ever heard the song “We are red, we are white, we are Oskar dynamite,” you have a good image of Igor Přerovský. Music expert and piano virtuoso Igor (32 when he last told us) moved to the first attacking line when he was appointed Vice President Brand & Communications. He knows a bit about speaking for the company – now the challenge for him is to avoid dubbing Oskar commercials by himself. Igor will attempt to repeat the success of former Vice President Sylvie Scott, who helped Oskar receive over 40 advertising awards and built one of the strongest brands on the market.

Francinne Hansen (just guess how much!) is the kind of strong, energetic leader we see in American movies – you know, rescuing the entire screw from a wrecked spaceship and killing three giant insects with a red Oskar scarf. Yet as the new Vice President Human Resources she might have tough time replacing Regina Miller under whose leadership Oskar became one of the Top 100 Employers for IT professionals worldwide*.

Fred Hrenchuk, formerly Vice President IS/IT, Customer Care and Direct Sales, is the last star to change his position in the team. He will take over the responsibility for network development, an area formerly supervised by Ante Rupcic. Ante has managed to build a network whose quality and build-out pace set a worldwide industry record in GSM network launches.

Karla D. Stephens goes on in her role of head-coach and Chief Oskarrite Officer. Mario Mele continues to excel in his role of Vice President for Marketing, while Muriel Anton keeps it safe as Vice President Finance/Operational Support.
