The Vodafone Czech Republic Foundation has a new leader

The Director of the Vodafone Czech Republic Foundation is Ondřej Zapletal, the role of coordinator will be taken up by Hana Lukáčová. The new Director of The Vodafone Foundation, one of the largest corporate foundations in the Czech Republic is Ondřej Zapletal (36). He brings extensive experience with managing socially useful projects from the nonprofit organization People in Need. In the role of manager since 2001, he worked in missions in Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Burma, and in 2010 led a program of humanitarian and development aid to Southeast Asia, where he was responsible for the overall management and coordination of projects. "My priority in the Vodafone Foundation will be to further develop "World of Difference" - a unique and highly successful project, and other activities for strengthening the development of the civil society and NGO sectors in the Czech Republic.

I would like the Vodafone Foundation to be an inspiring partner for NGOs and the young people with whom they cooperate, and take further one of the best and most innovative programs, which are seen among the corporate foundations in the Czech Republic," said the new director of the foundation Ondřej Zapletal

Ondřej Zapletal graduated from the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University, and also studied in the U.S., Canada and Ireland. His hobbies include outdoor activities, books and café loafing.

The new coordinator of the Vodafone Foundation is Hana Lukáčová (29). Previously, she worked in the nonprofit sector, particularly in the field of sociological research. She worked as a fundraiser and project manager at the civic association, 'Building Three Wishes', which aims to help vulnerable children and their families, she participated in the sociological research at the GAC and the National Institute of Children and Youth of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. S worked as a volunteer in many organizations focusing on helping underprivileged children.

Hana Lukáčová graduated in Sociology at Charles University and is currently studying psychology at Masaryk University in Brno. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and playing Scrabble.
