Pavel Kusý boosts Vodafone’s marketing team

Since November 1, Pavel Kusý has been Vodafone’s Marketing Director for Business Customers. Mr. Kusý returned to Vodafone after two years with Citibank, where he worked in the position of Marketing Director for the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. “I am returning to the youngest mobile operator to continue in strategic work in the field of marketing for business clients, in which I started working when the company was Oskar,” says Kusý. In the sphere of business customers, Vodafone is continuing to grow.

In the sphere of business customers, Vodafone is continuing to grow. Firms now account for a third of the operator’s total revenues. “Vodafone recently entered the segment of large firms and is offering communications services to tall types of companies. In my work, I will build on detailed analysis and knowledge of the needs of clients in all segments of the business market. I am focusing on ways of building relevance and long-term relationships with the target group and to support sales channels,” says Kusý.

Pavel Kusý has been working in marketing for ten years. Half of this was spent working for Coca-Cola where his responsibilities included preparing a strategy for BonAqua bottled water and developing a major global partnership between Coca-Cola and the Harry Potter films.

At Citibank, Kusý assembled a professional marketing team that worked on projects that included the rebranding of the Citi brand, opening new branches in Prague, an advertising campaign at the Prague Airport, and introducing three partner credit cards to the market together with Czech Airlines, Shell, and Telefónica O2.
