OSKAR VODAFONE IS NOW THE TOP MOBILE CHOICE OF TWO MILLION CUSTOMERS!

As of 23 August 2005 Oskar Vodafone, the Czech Republic‘s newest mobile operator, is delivering mobile voice and/or data services to over 2,000,000 customers. This milestone was reached after five years of month-over-month growth, and as Oskar Vodafone reports the long-term highest monthly revenue per customer (ARPU) among all Czech mobile operators. Oskar Vodafone reached 2,000,000 customers was almost twice as fast as Eurotel, and on par with T-Mobile's early growth record. It has clearly proved on this markedly saturated market that it is a major player on the Czech mobile market. Against the backdrop of an increasingly saturated Czech mobile market, this milestone clearly demonstrates that customers are seeing strong value in the products and services offered by Oskar Vodafone.

Oskar's two millionth customer is Radek Balhar, a young entrepreneur from Plesná. He received his prize (5 mobile phones with activated free calling a data services for two years) at a celebration today in the new Oskar Vodafone shop in Prague on Na Příkopě street from Ann Hofvander, vice president for sales and customer care. "We greatly appreciate being the first choice of over 2 million mobil customers," Hofvander said, marking the occasion.

The financial consulting entrepreneur switched to Oskar Vodafone from a competitor. Radek Balhar explains his reasons for changing operators: "I was looking for an operator that offers clients high-quality services under reasonable conditions. I especially like the system of well-arranged account control and the simplicity of setting the provided services."
