OSKAR VODAFONE HAS RECORDED NET 87 223 NEW CUSTOMERS IN THE LAST QUARTER

The number of customers of Oskar Vodafone has increased by 87 223* from the last quarter reaching a total of 2 038 223 customers. “Oskar Vodafone has recorded a 16.7% increase year-on-year in its customer count at the end of the quarter ending September 30, 2005. This demonstrates our unconventional approach and focus on delivering top value services that has made Oskar Vodafone an attractive operator on the Czech mobile communications market,“ says CEO Karla D. Stephens.

The number of customers of Oskar Vodafone has increased by 87 223* from the last quarter reaching a total of 2 038 223 customers.

“Oskar Vodafone has recorded a 16.7% increase year-on-year in its customer count at the end of the quarter ending September 30, 2005. This demonstrates our unconventional approach and focus on delivering top value services that has made Oskar Vodafone an attractive operator on the Czech mobile communications market,“ says CEO Karla D. Stephens. “And it will only get better. We are now part of Vodafone, the largest mobile operator in the world in terms of revenue, and a global leader in roaming and fast data transmission. This means that our customers can look forward to an even richer selection of state-of-the-art services, backed by Vodafone’s world-class expertise,” Stephens adds.

In addition, Oskar Vodafone reported a ratio of tariff customers at 50%. The monthly average rate per user (ARPU) was CZK 679 in the quarter ending September 30, 2005, which is CZK 22 higher than for the same period last year. The monthly ARPU of a tariff customer and a pre-paid customer for the quarter ending September 30, 2005 was CZK 966** and CZK 342, respectively.

Oskar Vodafone surpassed the 2 million-customer count on August 23 of this year.



*Oskar Vodafone's policy is to remove prepaid customers from our customer count after six months of inactivity, as measured by zero incoming or outgoing revenue. Our competitor's criteria for counting customers may be less stringent; as such, customer counts and measures, which are a function of such counts, such as ARPU, may not be directly comparable to those of our competitors.

**The figure excludes visitor revenue. Including visitor revenue, ARPU for tariff customers is CZK 1 017.
