OSKAR OPENS NEW CALL CENTER IN CHRUDIM

Offering even better customer service will soon be possible thanks to Oskar’s new Call Center. The Call Center equipped with leading-edge technologies is located at the fully restored premises of a former Transporta Co. administrative building. The main objective of Oskar‘s Call Center is to provide faster service in handling customers’ inquiries through OskarLinka (0800 177 100). “By opening our new Call Center in Chrudim, we are taking another important step in establishing direct cooperation with regions and smaller towns and villages,” said Fred Hrenchuk, Oskar’s Sales, Logistics and Customer Care Senior Director.

“By opening our new Call Center in Chrudim, we are taking another important step in establishing direct cooperation with regions and smaller towns and villages,” said Fred Hrenchuk, Oskar’s Sales, Logistics and Customer Care Senior Director. „We are very happy with our new Customer Service team and with the warm welcome we have received by the community.”

The new location in Chrudim offers job opportunities for as many as 60 telephone operators and a team of employees for technical support and back office functions. The build-up of Oskar’s Call Center was arranged by a local Chrudim-based company. The Center was established with the view that further enlargement in the future may be realized, should Oskar’s business activities require it.

Cesky Mobil became the third mobile network operator in the Czech Republic after being granted a GSM 900 / 1800 dual band license by the Czech government in October 1999 and launched commercial operations on March 1, 2000 under the brand name Oskar. As of August 2nd there were 100.000 Oskar subscribers. The network covers over 88 % of the Czech population and over 99 % of the main highways in the country.
