Wednesday, May 29 marks the launch date of Oskar’s new price plans that represent the best deal on the Czech mobile market.

The new rate plans confirm Oskar price leadership. Features of the new price plans are emphasizing the community calling and the favorable rates within Oskar network.

The new tariff structure brings customers the following benefits:

  • The balanced tariff plan structure allows every customer to choose a plan that meets their needs
  • Additional savings to the customer
  • No differentiation between peak and off-peak hours
  • The same favorable international calling rates
  • Per-second billing after the first minute
  • No written contract

“Oskar’s thoroughly innovative price offers are structured in such a way as to ensure that every type of user finds an optimal solution to their communication needs. By introducing the new post-paid tariffs and the FlexiRate billing concept for Oskarta users, Oskar again demonstrates that it is the best choice for customers on the Czech mobile communications market,“ says Mario Mele, Vice President Business Planning and Service Development. “It is also the first time that Oskar has introduced separate business tariffs with a minimum monthly fee,” Mario Mele adds.

All of the current rate plans will stay in effect for existing customers. Starting May 29, new customers can choose only from the new price plans. Agreement With Oskar and I Hear You tariffs will continue to be offered to new customers. Customers can migrate from the original tariffs to the new price plans free of charge.

QUICK OVERVIEW OF OSKAR’S NEW PRICE PLANS
(All prices are given without VAT 5 percent.)

BASIC TARIFFS

  • Talk – a monthly fee of 250 Kc, 50 inclusive free minutes
  • Talk More – a monthly fee of 600 Kc, 150 inclusive free minutes
  • Talk Lots More – a monthly fee of 1000 Kc, 300 inclusive free minutes

With all of the three above rate plans, bundled minutes apply to calls to all networks. Reduced rates are in effect for calls within the Oskar network in excess of bundled minutes. Free unused minutes are carried forward to the following month.

All of the three tariffs can be combined with the additional services My Favorites and My SMS. These add-on packages brings lower rates for calls to favorite phone numbers and SMS messaging. The My Favourites package replaces the original Oskamaradi service. The activation is free of charge, a monthly fee of 20 Kc applies. The My SMS package is an ideal solution for heavy SMS users. For a monthly fee of 80 Kc, the customer will receive 100 free SMSs to any network. This service reduces the price for SMSs to the unprecedented 0.80 Kc per message. The Talk, Talk More and Talk Lots More tariffs can be combined with one or both of the My Favorites and My SMS services.

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY TARIFFS
Specific benefits are brought by the following new price plans:

  • Write Me – a monthly fee of 10 Kc, 40 inclusive free minutes
  • Between Us – a monthly fee of 550 Kc, 300 inclusive free minutes

With both of these price plans, inclusive free minutes apply to calls within the Oskar network and unused minutes are not rolled over to the following month. These tariffs are an ideal choice for families or close business partners, who will welcome the possibility of communicating between themselves at an unbeatable price.

BUSINESS TARIFFS
Oskar has prepared a special offer for business clients that use 2 and more SIM cards:

  • Safe Bet – a monthly fee of 100 Kc, with “the more you call, the less you will pay“ feature
  • Best Return – a monthly fee of 250 Kc, with “the more you call, the less you will pay“ feature

A unique feature of Oskar’s business price plans is the minimum monthly fee. Oskar is also introducing automatic, volume based, discounts to make sure that “the more you call, the less you will pay“. For instance, customers using the Best Return tariff will only be charged 1 Kc per minute after 250 minutes called within the Oskar network – only a third of the standard calling rate.
