OSKAR MADE IT INTO THE CZECH EDITION OF THE GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS

02. July 2004

Oskar’s coverage campaign has set an unexpected record. Some 100,000 drivers who go across the Nuselsky bridge every day could hardly miss the red bubble wrap covering both sides of the bridge this week. The 3 021 square meters of wrapping that covered the Nuselsky bridge from Monday, June 28 until the midnight of Thursday, July 1, has been recognized by the Czech edition of the Guinness Book of Records as the largest advertising space in the Czech Republic. “For our campaign aimed at improving coverage perception, we were looking for a high-profile structure to put our advertisement on. There’s no doubt the Nuselsky bridge ranks as one of Prague’s most dominant structures.

“For our campaign aimed at improving coverage perception, we were looking for a high-profile structure to put our advertisement on. There’s no doubt the Nuselsky bridge ranks as one of Prague’s most dominant structures. Setting a new Czech record wasn’t planned but came as a pleasant surprise,“ says Petr Sindler, spokesperson at Oskar.

The Czech record was confirmed by a commissioner of the Pelhrimov based Dobry den agency. This agency is in charge of entering new records into the Guinness Book of Records in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
