OSKAR LAUNCHES GPRS AND MMS ROAMING
– For Oskar customers staying in touch from abroad will again be a bit more enjoyable. Starting today they can take advantage of GPRS and MMS Roaming services while travelling in four European countries. The first countries from which it is possible to send MMS messages, use WAP, or connect to the Internet are Slovakia, Austria, Belgium, and the Netherlands. All Oskar customers (including Oskarta owners) can send MMS messages, while connecting to the Internet and using WAP are possible only for tariff program users. "Of course the number of countries in which using GPRS and MMS Roaming services will be possible will gradually grow.

"Of course the number of countries in which using GPRS and MMS Roaming services will be possible will gradually grow. For example, on 3 November we will add Germany, through our roaming partner E-plus," says Petr Šindler, Oskar's spokesman.
All Oskar customers will pay a special price of CZK 9.50 (CZK 11.30, including VAT) for sending an MMS message from the aforementioned countries. Receiving MMS messages while roaming is free of charge. The price for each MMS message sent does not depend on its size. GPRS Roaming will be billed for each 10kB for using WAP and 100 kB for Internet connections.

No additional activation is required for using GPRS and MMS Roaming services. All you need is active Oskar Roaming service and GPRS or MMS service. Of course this is contingent upon your owning a handset that supports these services.
