OSKAR INTRODUCES PREPAID ROAMING

Now with Oskarta prepaid, subscribers have the option of roaming which means that they can receive calls and SMS when abroad, ensuring that they are always reachable . Before travelling on business or vacation, subscribers to Oskarta only have to call OskarLinka at *608 or 0800/177 100 and request activation of Oskar‘s roaming service – Oskar Abroad . No deposit is required.

In-coming calls are charged to the Oskarta roamer as if they were making an international call from their Oskarta mobile in the Czech Republic to the roaming partner country. The subscriber’s Oskarta account is debited in real time.

Oskar - which uses both 900 and 1800 MHz technology – has roaming agreements with numerous European telecommunications networks and will continue to add other countries and roaming partners worldwide allowing subscribers to Oskar’s network increased access wherever they travel abroad.

Following are a list of countries where Oskar subscribers can presently roam: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.

Oskarta recharge vouchers are available at all Oskar store locations and are also available at select Ceska Posta and Benzina locations throughout the country. Customers may also order 800 and 1500 CZK vouchers through direct delivery. Please note that the Oskarta service, that is the Starter Kit, should only be purchased through Oskar stores and at OskarKontakt (0800177117).

With Oskar, there is no activation fee, no contract to sign, and with per-second billing after the first minute, subscribers pay only for the time that they spend talking on their phone.

NOTE: Subscribers should either make sure that they replenish their Oskarta acoount with a sufficient amount of money before travelling, or purchase vouchers before their trip so they can call OskarLinka from a fixed line abroad or visit an Internet cafe to replenish their account via the Internet – making sure to indicate the 12 digit secret voucher number.
