OSKAR CELEBRATED HIS NAME DAY

To celebrate only five months of commercial operations Oskar organized a variety of innovative events including: poems, name day greetings and Oskar song lyrics, which received overwhelming public response and resulted in over 30.579 congratulatory messages to date. The competition for best name day greeting will be held until the 8th of August. Oskar will give to the authors of the most creative wishes the following prizes: 70 Nokia handsets, 350 pairs of branded slippers and 700 branded shirts. Oskar’s name day also resulted in very successful sales activities.

Oskar’s name day also resulted in very successful sales activities. The 100.000th subscriber was activated on its network and will receive up to 300 minutes of talk time a month for 10 years for free. In addition this subscriber will also receive a gift package, which will consist of an Oskar watch, T-shirt, baseball cap, slippers and other great stuff! Oskar will introduce its 100.000th subscriber next week.

Oskar is the brand name of Cesky Mobil, which launched its commercial service on March 1, 2000. Canadian-based Telesystem International Wireless (TIW) is the managing shareholder of Cesky Mobil.
