Milan Zíka becomes the new Vice President of Technology at Vodafone
After having served as CTIO at T-Mobile Poland, Milan Zíka is joining Vodafone in July as the new Vice President of Technology. He is going to focus particularly on innovations.
Milan Zíka graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague in 1995. He specialized in digital telecommunications networks. In 2008, he completed MBA studies at the Thunderbird University. He speaks English, Polish and German.
Zíka joined T-Mobile in 1996 as a System Integration Manager. Subsequently, he served as Vice President Network Design, Vice President Core Networks and Vice President Information Technology. From 2009, he worked as CTIO at T-Mobile Poland and was responsible for one of the biggest projects of RAN sharing agreement in Europe. For T-Mobile Group, he built an innovative centre in Cracow and created the concept of the Technology Shared Service Centre, which associates the top experts of the Group in a given area.
In his leisure time, Milan Zíka likes running, mountain biking and cross-country skiing.
