She is thus taking over the function carried out by former Advertising Director Martin Jaroš, who has transferred to the marketing department of Vodafone Turkey. Monika Čížková is now directing a team of people responsible for advertising, sponsoring, and external and internal communication.

“Communication will be tightly integrated into Vodafone’s strategy. Everything will revolve primarily around demolishing nonsensical principles by which other operators limit customers. In several ways, Vodafone will show that calling and building relationships with customers can be different, simpler, with humour and without unnecessary boundaries. For instance, or latest campaign draws the public’s attention to the fact that Vodafone does not tie its customers down for years in exchange for advantageous offers. We will definitely go further in destroying such ridiculous principles,” says Monika Čížková.

Monika Čížková has been working for Vodafone since 2004. She was promoted to her current position from the Insights and Planning department, which she led as its director.

Before joining Vodafone, Monika Čížková worked as a senior consultant for The Gallup Organization, which conducts market surveys. Ms. Čížková also has a wealth of experience in the field of the Internet. For example, she started up Citibank’s Internet subsidiary.

The beginning of Monika Čížková’s career took place primarily at DHL International, where she worked for nine years. Before leaving the company, her last position was as the Business Director, responsible for the marketing, business, and logistics teams.

Monika Čížková studied at the University of Economics, in the Faculty of Information Technologies, and received her MBA from the University of New York in Prague. In addition to her mother tongue, she also speaks English, German, French, and Russian. In her free time she enjoys travelling to the countryside and horseback riding.
