Jitka Schmiedová will be the new Vice-President for Human Resources at Vodafone

From the 1st of November, Jitka Schmiedová will be Vice-President for Human Resources at Vodafone. She will be replacing Katarína Brončeková, who is going on maternity leave. Schmiedová comes to Vodafone from Česká Spořitelna where she worked for four years as Human Resources Director. "Jitka brings great experience and I am also glad that thanks to her, we can maintain the balanced participation of women and men in the company's management," says Muriel Anton, CEO of Vodafone Czech Republic. Jitka Schmiedová has been working in the human resources industry since 1998.

Jitka Schmiedová has been working in the human resources industry since 1998. Prior to her work at the Česká spořitelna, she worked as Director of Human Resources at the General Health Insurance Company (Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna) and as Human Resources Manager at Norsk Hydro ASA Praha. She has experience also from Mitsubishi Electric Automotive Czech and Accenture.
