For the fourth time, Vodafone is the main partner of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival

Vodafone has become the main partner of the 45th annual Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. This year will make the fourth time in a row. For this occasion, Vodafone is organizing a one-day golf tournament, and as per tradition, setting up the SMS reservation system for all visitors and opening an Internet cafe in the Hotel Thermal. “We’re glad that this year we can we can help film enthusiasts get the most out of the biggest Czech film event of the year,” says Markéta Mze Abdou, Senior Manager for Brand and ATL communications at Vodafone and adds: “We’re rewarding our customers for their loyalty at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival with discounts on food on the colonnade or with other small gifts that will definitely be an advantage at the festival.” Vodafone offers all festival-goers the ability to reserve their movie tickets by SMS or directly from their mobile phones on the Vodafone live! portal.

Vodafone offers all festival-goers the ability to reserve their movie tickets by SMS or directly from their mobile phones on the Vodafone live! portal. Last year, more than 30,000 festival-goers used these services.

The Golf tournament under Vodafone’s patronage will be played on July 7, at the Karlovy Vary Golf Resort. One hundred players from among Vodafone’s business customers as well as celebrities, actors and filmmakers will take part.

Vodafone invites you as well to a festival of films created by or inspired by mentally handicapped with the name „Normal festival“, that´s taking place on this years MFF KV festival and is being organized by an NGO Inventura in cooperation with a famous documentarian Linda Jablonska, whose yearlong engagement in this NGO is sponzored by Vodafone Czech republic Foundation through a grant programme called Rok jinak. The goal of this programme is to support specialists from business sector to work for an NGO of their liking for a year.
