David Duroň strengthens Vodafone Czech Republic marketing team

He has spent a considerable part of his career in the telecommunications sector. David Duroň has held top manager positions in T-Mobile, GTS Novera, and Telefonica O2 (formerly Český Telecom), where he held the position of Chief Marketing Officer.

Mr. Duroň is looking forward to his engagement with the Czech Republic's youngest mobile operator. "I see great potential in the field of marketing for private clients. Competition on the mobile communications market is enormous and customers expect fair offers with real benefits, and that is exactly what we want to offer them," he says.

"With regards to the fact that we want to change the rules for customers, it was absolutely key that the position of Marketing Director for Private Clients went to somebody with high qualifications and plenty of experience that comes not only from the field of telecommunications. During David Duroň's time at Atlas.cz, the company underwent significant changes, especially in the fields of services and strategy. It is worth noting the portal's new maps, email, catalogued services, and exclusive co-operation with ICQ, thanks to which the number of the service's users have nearly doubled over the last year.
