On May 21, Vodafone is introducing two new bundles with discounted calls to fixed lines. On top of this, it is extending its current Friends Program with the opportunity to make unlimited calls and send unlimited SMS messages to fixed lines.

Fixed Program

The new Fixed Program enables customers to make unlimited calls to all fixed lines in the Czech Republic, during any time period, for CZK 530 per month (including 19% VAT). This is available to Loaded, Full, Talk, Talk more Talk lots more, I Call Seldom, I Call Often, I Call the Time, and Junior customers.

Off-Peak Fixed Program

The Off-Peak Fixed Program is intended primarily for those who want to call fixed lines during off-peak hours. Subscribers to the same tariffs as those that apply to the Fixed Program get unlimited calls to all fixed lines in the Czech Republic during off-peak hours for CZK 240 (including 19% VAT). Foir this bundle, the off-peak hours, and the full days on weekends and holidays, amount to 2 hours more than what they are with the competition (from 18:00 to 08:00).

Extended Friends Program

Until now, existing and new private customers with the Loaded, Full, Talk, Talk more, Talk lots more, and Junior tariffs could choose one to four numbers of those closest to them in the Vodafone network, and for a monthly fee ranging from CZK 179 to CZK 286 (with 19% VAT, according to the amount of selected numbers) they could make unlimited calls and send an unlimited number of text messages to these numbers. From May 21 the Friends Program will be extended to include all fixed-line numbers in the Czech Republic.

“We only do what´s right for our customers. This offer frees them from having to hang on to their fixed phone for the purpose of making a few calls, and having to pay a high monthly fee for it. Our customers also want the real value of being able to choose the unlimited offer, that´s right for them, so we are providing a number of truly unlimited plans for all of our customers to use,” says Chris Robbins, Vice-President of Marketing Vodafone. The Friends Program and both Fixed Programs can be activated through all available Vodafone sales channels, through the Internet self-service portal at www.vodafone.cz, through the Vodafone sales line at 800 777 777, or directly at shops.

“While creating the bundles, we concentrated primarily on ensuring that unlimited calling would be available to everyone as a long-term benefit, not a time-limited promotional offer. Also, customers do not have to use up the free minutes they get with their tariffs before taking advantage of their bundles; therefore, they can start using their right to unlimited calling immediately after activation,” says Lukáš Kružberský, Marketing Manager, Vodafone, adding, “In a similar strategic spirit, for several years now we have been offering customers other services such as the Weekend Calling Bundle and the Weekend SMS Bundle.” With these, Vodafone tariff customers can make unlimited calls and send an unlimited number of SMS messages, respectively, to Vodafone numbers during weekends for monthly fees of CZK 179 and CZK 108 (including 19% VAT).

As part of the special offers, customers now have the opportunity to try one of the five unlimited services bundles (Fixed Program, Off-Peak Fixed Program, Friends Program, Weekend Calling Bundle, Weekend SMS Bundle) for one month absolutely free of charge. They simply need to activate the service of their choice by the end of July and then with the Fixed Program, for example, they can call all fixed lines in the Czech Republic free of charge for one month.
