Six Sigma is a world-wide methodology created for process improvement, increased quality, and effective company management, which by changing internal company processes tries to avert the emergence of the most diverse negative effects (to prevent financial loss, to decrease the rate of mistakes and errors, the number of complaints, etc.) and to increase customer satisfaction. It is used by top companies around the world, like General Electric, Motorola, Whirlpool Europe, etc.
