“After its full implementation Vodafone customers will use one of the most modern customer care systems in the Czech republic,“ says Alena Sochorová, senior manager from Accenture, the supplier of the new system.

“Customers want changes and information in real time, this system will deliver it,” says Filip Friedlaender from IBM, the supplier of the new system.

The new system provides customers with the following benefits:

  • activation and change of their tariffs and bundles in real time
  • watch their spending in real time = 100% cost control in a new web self-care
  • prepaid customers will be able to activate tariffs/bundles from postpaid portfolio

The new system will be launched gradually for several months from November 23 on. First numbers to be transferred to the new system will be numbers of prepaid customers, followed by non contract tariff customers and numbers of business customers during the year 2011.

Vodafone will keep all customers updated and will proactively send them an informative SMS. Customers will also find the updated information on the implementation of the new system and individual information about particular changes related to their number on a special micro site www.vodafone.cz/zlepsujeme from November 23 on.

Vodafone OneNet platform which already provides very high cost control as well as individual tailor made solutions with many benefits to business customers will remain unchanged.

The new system simplifies the Vodafone portfolio and enables all customers to use the most advanced propositions which are beneficial for them in terms of both price and conditions.
