Vodafone to temporarily discontinue credit recharging from Sazka terminals
Today at midnight Vodafone will temporarily stop recharging prepaid SIM cards on the Sazka terminals. It will not have any impact on the number of places where Vodafone customers can recharge credit. The reason for this move is the declared inability of Sazka to fulfil its commitments related to credit recharge via Sazka terminals, proved also by high Sazka's overdue debt to Vodafone worth tens of millions Czech crowns. In all shops with Sazka terminals our customers already can, or will very shortly be able to, buy credit coupons to immediately recharge their balance. There are over 20,000 sites in the Czech Republic where Vodafone's customers can recharge their credit.

Vodafone has informed Sazka in writing about its decision to temporarily stop recharging credit from its terminals. Vodafone is ready to resume its cooperation with Sazka in full provided that it is given sufficient assurance that Sazka's overdue debt to Vodafone will be settled.
To make the credit recharge easier for customers, Vodafone has also newly launched CZK 200 credit coupons as an additional option to current CZK 500 and CZK 1200 credit coupons.
Vodafone's customers may recharge their credit by the following means:
- přes ATM's Česká spořitelna, ČSOB/Poštovní spořitelna, Komerční banka, Euronet, Oberbank, Volksbank, CitiBank
- over 140 Vodafone shops
- over 1500 Lekkerland top up terminals at gas stations and tobacco shops
- in all 772 branches of Tipsport chain
- Internet banking Česká spořitelna, ČSOB, Poštovní spořitelna, Komerční banka, GE Money bank and Unicredit bank
- Cash registers registers in Globus, Rossman, Electro World and Billa stores
- Recharge couponscoupons sold from 15 thousand shops all over the Czech Republic (newsagents, Vodafone branded shops, branches of Česká pošta, petrol stations, retail chains and other retailers)
