Vodafone takes care of socially-disadvantaged customers
Vodafone is the only operator to date to publicly declare its commitment to give discounts to socially-disadvantaged customers. “We don’t intend to breach commitments that we have already given in the past to our socially and physically-disadvantaged customers, but will continue them by giving those same customers an additional CZK 200 monthly discount,” says Přemysl Filip, Senior Manager for Corporate Responsibility at Vodafone Czech Republic. All Vodafone customers who present adequate confirmation of their impaired social or health status are eligible to receive a discount of CZK 200 to be deducted from their monthly bill. This discount is applicable to all Vodafone Loaded tariffs, except for the Loaded 119 tariff. Vodafone joined the current tender from the Czech Telecommunications Office to provide special prices for universal services, which does not include the responsibility to provide those services to the socially-challenged.
