"We want to offer our customers innovative things; that’s why we decided to expand our portfolio of mobile phones to include the Vodafone 845 smartphone, running the Android operating system. While Vodafone will offer this new model at a very attractive price, it certainly does not mean that it has a poor feature set," says David Novak, Terminal Manager at Vodafone.

The Vodafone 845, as well as having the large 2.8-inch QVGA display also offers maximum connectivity to the Internet. It can connect over 3G mobile networks and is ready for HSDPA upgrades. It is Wi-Fi ready, coming in useful at home or at many public access points.

Other added features to the new smartphone include: GPS capabilities, as well as rich multimedia equipment such as a 3.2-megapixel camera, music player and FM radio. The Vodafone 845 uses the new, globally popular 2.1 version of the Google Android operating system. The Android platform offers customers not only an easy and comfortable interface, but also a wide variety of applications, games and other programs – a large part of which are offered completely free of charge.

Vodafone’s standard price for the phone in July is CZK 3577, including VAT. With a minimum monthly bill of 477 CZK, the price is 2177 CZK.
