Vodafone provides safe mobile Internet

11. February 2008

In order to ensure mobile phone security, Vodafone customers can activate, for instance, a “Children’s Profile” that prohibits their access to erotic content on the Vodafone live! portal, block calls to premium-rate tariffs (numbers with 900, 906, and 909 prefixes), or use any Expenses Under Control tool. In April, Vodafone will also be the first operator in the Czech Republic to provide the most extensive mobile Internet security by expanding the “Children’s Profile” to the rest of the Internet that is accessible through mobiles. “Vodafone already enables parents to protect their children against harmful Internet content and will continue to be the leader on the Czech market in enhancing mobile phone security measures,” says Přemysl Filip, Senior Manager of Corporate Responsibility, Vodafone.
