In August, Vodafone brings its customers a unique range of smart mobile phones. In selected stores, people will be able to choose as well as be able to try and compare comfortably 40 models of various brands of smartphones available on the Czech market. They can take them with any Vodafone tariff at discounted prices or by themselves. The widened portfolio will appear in stores in mid-August.

"The market is heading toward ever more high-end smartphones, for which there had been no place up until now in the standard offer. Our new strategy will enable us to significantly expand our smartphone offer, hearing the wishes of our customers, while strengthening our position as a leader in sales of smart mobile phones among Czech operators," said David Novák, who is in charge of Vodafone's phone portfolio, and adds:" We expect that by the end of the year almost 70% of all handsets sold by Vodafone will be smartphones."

In specialized stores, Vodafone customers will find, depending on the availability of new products, a greatly expanded range of different brands of smartphones, color options and price categories that they will be able to try and compare right in the store. The expanded portfolio will be on offer to customers from August 8th and can also be ordered in a special section on Vodafone's e-shop website and from the operator's infoline.

Part of the extended offer will be smart phones for the most demanding users and for lovers of design, i.e. for all customers who want something more from their smartphone. Vodafone will also offer completely new brands of smartphones, but Motorola also returns. This brand's model will be welcomed by outdoor activity fans who already appreciate a smartphone that is highly resistant to scratches or other physical damage, and which is also waterproof. In the expanded portfolio, customers will also find hi-tech models with 3D technology, specially adapted phones to be used as a gaming console or different color options of currently available models.

Among the flagships of newly expanded smartphones on offer from August will be the resistant Motorola Defy, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play and Arc, the LG Optimus 3D, the Huawei Ideos X5, the Nokia X7 and Samsung's new Galaxy Tab 10.1 with the new version of the Android operating system.
