Vodafone once again dedicates advertising space to the non-profit sector
This year, Vodafone is again offering one whole advertising channel to the non-profit sector, enabling these organisations to place donor SMS (DMS) campaigns on its credit top-up vouchers for free. The operator is also offering non-profit organisations free space on the Vodafone live! mobile portal. DMS campaigns that appeared on top-up vouchers last year resulted in an average 300% increase of the month-on-month number of sent messages. “The success of this project can be seen in the DMS collections for Helppes, Animals in Need, and Ratolest Brno, which all participated in the project last year,” says Přemysl Filip, Senior Manager, Corporate Responsibility, Vodafone Czech Republic, adding, “It brought these programs to the awareness of over one million customers, and the number of donations increased severalfold.” Conditions of the DMS on top-up vouchers program: DMS projects registered in the Donors Forum and running until at least June 30, 2011 may apply to participate in the program.

Conditions of the DMS on top-up vouchers program:
- DMS projects registered in the Donors Forum and running until at least June 30, 2011 may apply to participate in the program.
- Applications must include a high-quality image that the non-profit organization wishes to present on top-up vouchers.
- The selection committee will choose three winning DMS campaigns by the end of May through a tender.
- Applications must be sent via email to odpovednost@vodafone.cz by April 30, 2010.

DMS messages are a secure and convenient way to make financial contributions to charities. The price of one DMS is CZK 30, of which the recipient gets CZK 27. The Donors Forum civic association ensures the service. Since the launch of the DMS program, over 293 million crowns has been collected through this service, and since last year it has also been possible to donate through annual DMS.
