Vodafone offers students calling and Internet for half the price
Vodafone came out with new packages of voice and data services for students today. The new student offer from Vodafone contains a combination specifically aimed at students. It includes a lower tariff for mobile Internet connections – Student online and the ability to call and send SMS at a lower rate with the new Student Extra package. “The very successful Christmas campaign succeeded in bringing mobile Internet to all of our customers. The Student online offer now presents a way for students to remain online even after the end of their half-year free trial,” says Lukáš Kružberský, Marketing Director for non-corporate customers and adds: “Students will now be able to use instant messaging services like ICQ or Yahoo, which some of them allready use more frequently than SMS, without limits now.

Vodafone’s new student offer:
- Student online – Vodafone mobile Internet for CZK 89 per month, including VAT
- Student extra – every student who pays an extra CZK 150 on any Loaded tariff, will receive an additional CZK 150 for calling and SMS

Anyone may combine both the Student online and Student extra offers. All Vodafone customers between the ages of 15 and 26 (inclusive) that affirm that they are studying during the given year may take advantage of these offers. The service is active for 12 months from sending the affidavit and details together with the affidavit. It can be used with any Loaded tariff, the advantage, just like the extra credit, being that the customer can decide for themselves whether to use it for calling or SMS.
