Vodafone is the main partner of the International Karlovy Vary Film Festival for the fifth time

Vodafone continues its five-year tradition as the main partner of the 46th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. It also brings the concept of Cinema Royal to customers in Karlovy Vary for the first time with the Aeroport club. As part of the KVIFF, Vodafone will also hold a one-day golf tournament, implement the traditional SMS ticket reservation system for all festival visitors and will open the Star Club in front of the Thermal Hotel, at which all festival fans can have their pictures taken for free like movie stars.

"The concept of Cinema Royal, a film screening at an exclusive location away from traditional cinemas, will be brought to film fans at KVIFF for the first time at the Aeroport club," says Marketa Moreno, Director of Brand and Communications at Vodafone, and added: "We've also prepared a special gift at Aeroport for all our customers."

Vodafone offers all festival visitors the chance to book tickets by sending an SMS or directly from their mobile phones. In recent years, this option has been exercised by tens of thousands of festival visitors.

Vodafone's golf tournament will be played on July 6, 2011 at Golfresort Karlovy Vary. A hundred players from the ranks of Vodafone business customers, as well as actors and filmmakers will participate.

For the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, Vodafone is preparing:

• The Star Club, where people can have their pictures taken like stars;
• The Cinema Royal concept, in cooperation with the Aeroport club;
• A free gift for Vodafone customers at Aeroport club;
• A one-day golf tournament;
• The SMS ticket reservation system.
