VODAFONE IS ALSO TAKING ITS CUSTOMERS TO THE MOVIES: Vodafone activities at the festival
Vodafone affirms its strategy to take the best possible care of its customers, so in the scope of its partnership with the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, it is providing them with plenty of entertainment and benefits. For those attending the festival it has prepared the Vodafone FÉR KLUB, which will serve as an Internet café and music club, and scooter rentals. It is also offering visitors the opportunity to reserve tickets directly from their mobile phones, either through sending SMS messages or with the help of the Vodafone live! portal, free for our customers. Vodafone has prepared these activities for festival guests, in order to make their stay more enjoyable: the opportunity to reserve tickets through SMS messages or the Vodafone live! portal Vodafone FÉR KLUB 30 minutes of Internet usage free of charge for café customers concerts and dance parties every night (Gipsy.cz, Michael Burian, Tim Felixe, Kryštof,…) – entry with accreditation CZK 100, without accreditation CZK 150 bartender school, hairdressers, tattooing,… luggage depository – free for Vodafone customers scooter rental – free for Vodafone customers Accredited festival guests will always be able to reserve tickets on the date of, and one day before, the screening they wish to attend.

Accredited festival guests will always be able to reserve tickets on the date of, and one day before, the screening they wish to attend. They can do so in two ways:
1) by sending an SMS message
- the guest must sent an SMS message with the relevant keyword and in the correct form (see examples below) to 906 09 05. They then get confirmation of a successful reservation.
2) with the help of the Vodafone live! portal
- in order to make reservations, customers must go to the special "Karlovy Vary" section in the main menu of the Vodafone live! portal.
Ticket reservations made through SMS cost CZK 5 including VAT. Reservations made through the Vodafone live! portal are completely free of charge.
As part of the special "Karlovy Vary" section at the Vodafone live! portal, in addition to the ticket reservation system, other interesting information has been prepared for customers:
- Information about the festival – items of interest regarding the festival
- Vodafone hotel - information about free accommodation for Vodafone customers
- Information about an MMS contest for accreditation and accommodation – information about a contest with prizes in the form of accommodation and accreditation for customers and their friends
- Day and night program of the Vodafone FÉR KLUB
- Festival program – a detailed program of the festival is also being prepared
Vodafone has been actively working with television and film for quite some time now, as evidenced by, for instance, the Daring Dozen documentary series, Febiofest 2007, its partnership with the Czech film Returnable Bottles (Vratné lahve), and more…
