This is the third year that Vodafone has actively participated in Mobility Week. In 2007, it offered customers transport schedules on their mobiles for free, and the following year, gave public transport tickets for free with each purchase. This year, along with the Vodafone Czech Republic Foundation, they have partnered with the Auto*mat initiative, which is organizing the bike ride in Prague, and also supports ‘City on Wheels’, the Pardubice bike ride organizer. The 5 most interesting photos with a description of the event that participants send in, from whichever bike ride in the Czech Republic, to odpovednost@vodafone.cz by 25.9.2009 at the latest will be awarded brand-name bike pants by Vodafone.

90 cities participated in Mobility Week in the Czech Republic in 2008, putting us in fifth place in Europe, just behind Austria (378 cities), Spain and France. The world-wide campaign featured over 1800 cities in 39 countries, including Canada, Japan and Brazil.
