Vodafone introduces its first offer in its new customer care system

Over the past few weeks, Vodafone has successfully transferred nearly 1.5 million customers to its new customer care system. All of these customers, and new Vodafone customers with tariffs, will be able to activate a new offer for students in which they will be able to send SMS messages for 50 hellers, or get discounted calling rates in a group of ten numbers called Vlastní síť (My Network). "We successfully transferred nearly a million and a half numbers into the new system. Therefore, we decided to introduce the new services that this system offers customers.

Over the past few weeks, Vodafone has successfully transferred nearly 1.5 million customers to its new customer care system. All of these customers, and new Vodafone customers with tariffs, will be able to activate a new offer for students in which they will be able to send SMS messages for 50 hellers, or get discounted calling rates in a group of ten numbers called Vlastní síť (My Network).

Advantageous data, voice, and SMS services for students between 15 and 26 years old are among the most interesting," says Martin Horčička, who is responsible for the execution of this project for Vodafone.

Services that Vodafone is offering in the new customer care system:

Tailor made tariff for Students:

  • offers discounted calling, SMS, and data for students aged 15 to 26
  • 50 free minutes for CZK 150 with VAT
  • 200 SMS for CZK 100 with VAT, i.e. 1 SMS for CZK 0.50 with VAT
  • Internet in Mobile with a 50% discount, i.e. for CZK 89 with VAT, for one month
  • always valid for one year from customer confirmation that they're a student

Single packages from the Student Offer can be combined in any form, or activated individually.

My network:

The service is especially beneficial for small firms as it enables them to create their own group of numbers in which they can call one another at very favourable rates.

  • offers discounted calling and SMS messages within a group of up to ten numbers
  • a monthly fee of CZK 48 with VAT for each number in the group
  • the rate for calls to numbers within the group: CZK 1.20 with VAT
  • the price for each SMS to numbers within the group: CZK 1.20 with VAT

My Network Unlimited:

  • offers unlimited calling and SMS messages within a group of up to ten numbers
  • a monthly fee of CZK 240 with VAT for each number in the group
  • the rate for calls to numbers within the group: CZK 0
  • the price for each SMS to numbers within the group: CZK 0

All customers who have receive an SMS informing them that they've been transferred to the new customer care system successfully, or who have bought a new SIM card from Vodafone, can use the above-mentioned services.

All of these services will also be presented on the Vodafone website at www.vodafone.cz from February 1, 2011. For services that have changed due to the transfer to the new customer care system, customers will always see their form before the change and after, and they'll be able to check whether their numbers have been transferred, or when the change will affect them.
