Vodafone experienced record growth in the last quarter

Vodafone Czech Republic recorded a net growth of 77 thousand customers for the quarter running from July to September 2008, the largest quarterly growth in 2008. Since September 2007, the Company increased its number of customers by 9,6 % to 2.828 million.
"This growth in such a highly penetrated market demonstrates that customers appreciate our approach to remove barriers for them,” says Muriel Anton, Vodafone Czech Republic CEO and adds: “Our new Loaded card offer, which gives prepaid customers the same low prices as tariff customers, contributed the most to our current record growth.”
At the end of the quarter, tariff customers represented 51.2 % of all Vodafone Czech Republic’s customers. During this quarter, Vodafone Czech Republic's average revenue from mobile services per user (ARPU) was CZK 606 per month.
