Vodafone customers can reset their FUP for a fee
Vodafone customers who do a lot of web surfing and exceed their monthly data limit, can now reset that limit several times by paying a fee. The 'Purchasing additional FUP Limit' service is designed for customers who have already been transferred to the new customer system and have a data plan activated for Vodafone mobile Internet, Vodafone mobile Internet Loaded or Connect Steady. The current monthly data limit is exceeded by about 5% of customers. "With this service we want to accommodate customers who use the Internet intensively and to a greater extent. Everyone can now increase their data limit according to their needs, and do it repeatedly," says Pavel Kuhn, Senior Marketing Manager at Vodafone.

Vodafone currently has the widest high-speed 3G coverage of all mobile operators. It covers 46% of the population of the Czech Republic and by the end of August this year will cover 60% of the population. Vodafone uses the latest technology, HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) from Huawei for the operation of its 3G network. This enables mobile Internet connection speeds up to 7.2 Mbps.
In addition to the 3G network, customers can use Vodafone's mobile data connectivity over MobilKom's CDMA network, covering 75 percent of the population, and its 2G network - EDGE, which is available to 95 percent of the population of the Czech Republic.
