There are only three days left to apply for the prestigious Vodafone Company of the Year competition

The number of participants in the competition increases each year - last year 2,681 companies applied for it. Any company that has at least two years of accounting history and turnover to 1.4 billion can participate in the competition. Last year, the Vodafone Company of the Year Award for 2010 went to the Zlin-based 5M company that manufactures sandwich and composite materials.
In addition to the considerable publicity that helps the winning companies to attract new business partners and customers, the award delivers the respect of existing suppliers, customers and increasing loyalty among employees.
As in previous years, the competition will be fought not only for the nationwide title, but also for the regional award for Vodafone Company of the Year. Already placement in the regional round opens the door to further business development for the company and ranks the company among the most important entrepreneurs of the region.
This year will also select the 'Responsible Company of the Year'. This award can be won by companies who behave responsibly towards society and the environment.
The nationally most successful companies will be awarded a mobile office solution from Vodafone worth up to 50 000 crowns. Winners of regional rounds will get mobile phones and modems from Vodafone.
The deadline for applications is the 15th of July. Regional rounds will run from the 1st of September until the 13th October. The nationwide Vodafone Company of the Year winner will be announced in December.
