The Vodafone calculator finds the optimal tariff and saves money on calling

Vodafone is launching a new online tool that enables customers to quickly find the Vodafone tariff that is optimal for their needs. According to the number of minutes called and SMS messages sent, the new Internet calculator at www.vodafone.cz/kalkulacka (in Czech only) selects the tariff that provides the most minutes and SMS messages for the customer’s money. Everybody, not only Vodafone customers, can compare the advantages of tariffs in the calculator within minutes.

Vodafone is launching a new online tool that enables customers to quickly find the Vodafone tariff that is optimal for their needs. According to the number of minutes called and SMS messages sent, the new Internet calculator at www.vodafone.cz/kalkulacka (in Czech only) selects the tariff that provides the most minutes and SMS messages for the customer’s money.

Everybody, not only Vodafone customers, can compare the advantages of tariffs in the calculator within minutes.

The user only needs to enter whether they are calling as a private customer, a student, or a business, which operator they are using, and which tariff they have. The result shows the optimum Vodafone tariff and, if applicable, the number of additional minutes and SMS messages the customer would get for their money. The calculator also presents the full results in the event that a Vodafone tariff is less advantageous. The calculator does not take bundles, promotional offers, or MMS into account; it only works with calling minutes and delivered SMS messages.

“We designed the calculator so that it is as objective as possible and has real value for the customer. Therefore, its calculations are based solely on comparable offers from all operators, and not with singular, time-limited special offers that distort results in the favour of one particular operator,” says Eva Štípková, Interactive Marketing Manager, Vodafone.

Tariffs can be compared on two levels. For a simple calculation, the user only needs to enter the number of minutes and SMS messages per month. A more detailed calculation works with a detailed breakdown of SMS messages delivered and calling minutes to the networks of individual operators and also takes peak hour, off-peak hour, and weekend calling into account.
