The Vodafone 225 has been one of the most successful mobiles among Vodafone’s portfolio of unsubsidized phones since August 2007. Customers have purchased tens of thousands of units since its introduction to the market. Initially, VF 225 phones were sold in a package together with a prepaid Wild Card through the Tesco retail chain network. They eventually became available through other retail chains, to which Vodafone provides its goods through its partner Star Communications.“Thanks to our cooperation with partner retail chains, we have been able to provide our customers with high quality affordable handsets, such as the Vodafone 225 bundled with our prepaid Vodafone Loaded card or Wild card and extra credit aimed for customers who are looking for especially advantageous offers.
